Negativity- The Energy Vampire
Have you ever met some one or do you know someone who constantly complains about how miserable their life is? No matter how good they have it they are always bickering. The thing is if you constantly hang around these people you’ll find yourself starting to do the same things.
So you have the cynic in the work place who constantly complains about the job. Ok, the job may not be all that but most times these people would complain even if they got a better job. I know one lady who is highly paid and keeps getting even better jobs yet every place she has worked her one complaint is that the people there dislike her. This has been the story all her adult life. She hasn’t figured out yet that she may just be the problem.
Anyway I have gotten to the point where I have stopped calling her. People like this totally sap your energy and if you are not careful you become like them.
Highly Contagious
It is unfortunate that negative emotions are contagious.Just think how easy it is to go to a work place for example and fall into the trap of everyone else who sits and laments how lousy the organization is etc. Now I am not saying you won’t have a lousy organization and even worse management but seriously leave it if you don’t like it. But seriously after a time you begin think that if these folks had nothing to complain they would probably die of boredom?
Start running and just keep going
I avoid negative people. Many times these dream killers condemn what they don’t understand. So Lord forbid that you should let them in on your ideas or dreams. You will hear the million reasons your idea won’t work mainly because they were too gutless to try it themselves anyway.
I don’t keep negative folks around me anymore. I can’t be bothered with that millstone around my neck. I figure a happy me is a healthier me. You just have to find happiness within, not in an organization a lover or a bottle (even though many have tried). Just like Nosferatu
