I kiss your lips by candlelight,
You whisper softly in my ear,
We sway erotically to the music,
They all stare, it’s as if they knew.
We move to a private corner of the room to seek our solitude,
We need to be alone……
Before the time comes when we have to go to our separate homes.

All in my mind
Here is a love poem I wrote recently. I wrote it in Jamaican dialect (patois) so if you need a translation just holler at me. Let me know what you think.

Wake up this morning,
And in the middle of yawning,
I look to mi right,
And in the bed beside mi, mine eyes beheld the sight,
Of mi empress lying there,
And as I stared at her,
She turn to mi an open her eyes,
She smiled,
And that was when the sun rise,
And she reach over and kiss mi.
Tell mi when I gone work
How she going to miss mi,
And it did feel good to know,
