Justice

There is a lady I would love to meet
It seems if she smiles your way,
Life could be really sweet.
But it seems she only mingles with a certain class,
So its unlikely she’ll be chilling with my poor black a**.
I hope someday, maybe she’ll come around and
Probably spend time in my part of town.
Honestly, I ‘d love a date with this little Miss,
That elusive lady known as Justice.

A short poem about the unfairness of the justice system as it relates to class. Sad thing is that many in our society prefer to turn a blind eye to such matters. As long as life is good for many of us the unfairness of it all never seems to matter. I say it’s time we stop turning a blind eye to injustice because whether we like it or not sooner or later it will affect us all.
