Here are some more Jamaican Proverbs. This time I have translated the patois as well as given the meanings of these clever sayings.
When ashes cold dawg sleep in deh.
Translation: When ashes get cold then dogs will sleep in it.
Meaning: When the glory of importance fades, people take advantage of the situation.

Underage girl

She’s traded in dolls and childish antics,
Storybooks been replaced by bedroom gymnastics.
With young boys she no longer plays,
Cause she wants a sugar daddy who will pay,
Pay for her next pair of shoes,
While he gets her over developed body to use.
