A Bloggers Salute-Marvia’s Panama Journal
A Magical Idea
I was sitting at breakfast this morning and as I was about to put a piece of roast breadfruit in my mouth It hit me Why not have a bloggers salute. Yeah so I am going to be doing a series on my favourite blogs. Why should I find the good stuff and keep it all to myself. I am way too much of a chatter box for that kind of behaviour .
It’s a bloggers salute….So don’t keep it quiet go” Wake the town and tell the people!!!
Writers Anathema
As a writer many times it is hard for me not to look at another person writing without a critical eye. I know sometimes you just need to read and enjoy and park the criticism. I don’t know if that tendency is a copywriter’s curse. When you find something good you really should share it especially a good blog. This is the first of many to come. So here we go! I will admit I maybe writing with a bit of bias about this but hey sue me.
Of Roasted Corn and other things
Marvia’s Panama Journal is absolutely one of my favorite blogs. She is a Jamaican Baptist Minister who is a missionary in Panama. Aptly titled Candid Reflections of a Female Missioner in Panama, this lady is witty ( wit sharper than a cane cutters cutlass during harvest time) and meticulous. I think she has the ability to write get across her message without being preachy at the same time . I just love the way she writes about different topics. Not to mention the fact that topics are so wide and vary from Ten Everyday Ways to Appreciate Your Pastor to Roasted Corn - Tastiest Alternative To Coffee. (What! Alternative to coffee… hmmm)
Trust me if you never had roasted corn you are missing a lot
Intellectually Stimulating
Any way back on track here , I am still trying to learn about cementing myself in the Blogosphere so I am no guru. However, I do know good writing and I know what I like and I say this one is worth visiting and revisiting. So I say big up to this Blogger exercising her Right to Write.
So go ahead visit www.marviaspanamajournal.com and enjoy.
